Open role

Social Media Manager

Tell the world what the studio is making, and build the audience for our own projects.

Apply

We make a lot of art, and most of it deserves a bigger audience than it gets. You’ll own how Embody shows up online: the studio’s client work, and our own projects, Catnip and Heists & Henchmen. You’ll work directly with the artists making it.

What you’ll do

  • Run Embody’s social channels: planning, scheduling, writing and posting.
  • Turn work-in-progress and finished art into posts people stop scrolling for.
  • Build the audience for our own projects, Catnip and Heists & Henchmen, alongside the studio’s.
  • Work with the art team to find the stories in what we’re making.
  • Track what lands and what doesn’t, and adjust.

What we’re looking for

  • Channels you’ve grown, and the numbers to show for it.
  • A good eye for art. You’ll be presenting other people’s work, so it has to look right.
  • Familiarity with gaming communities, especially Minecraft, Roblox or Hytale.
  • Clear, short writing with a voice of its own.

Nice to have

  • Short-form video editing.
  • Experience building a community around a game before it launched.

How to apply

Send links to accounts you’ve run, a few posts you’re proud of, and a line on what made each one work.

The studio

What it is like to work here.

  • 20+

    A small studio

Small enough that you know everyone, and your work is seen by the people deciding what comes next.

  • Anywhere

    Fully remote, worldwide

The team is spread across the globe. Where you live has no bearing on whether you can join.

  • Relaxed

    Fun to work in

We take the work seriously and ourselves a lot less. Good art comes easier when people enjoy turning up.

  • Growth

    Room to grow

New platforms, new disciplines, new clients. The studio is growing, and there is plenty of room to grow with it.
